There are lots of different ways to get involved in this year’s Walthamstow Garden Party, both in the run up and across the weekend itself. Whether you want to apply to be a food trader, take part in a dance performance or offer your expertise for a workshop or activity, take a look at the offers below to find something to get involved in.
This year Fellowship Island is looking for a programme that offers a stimulating, alternative take on what the future of London could look like and inspiration on how to build a stronger, more harmonious, resource-saving community in Walthamstow and beyond.

This year, Create and William Morris Gallery are partnering up with Blackhorse Workshop to curate Body-Builders, an experimental production lab of anatomical accessories (think: extendable arms, Pinocchio noses and altered vision goggles). Check out the open call here.
Open Call to Waltham Forest residents. MovE17 is looking for mums, dads and their children (aged 8-12 years) to perform at the Walthamstow Garden Party. Participation is free and open to all abilities (no previous dance experience required).

Propel: making workshops
Come get involved with four free open access workshops taking place before the Walthamstow Garden Party. Join artist Delyth Taylor to make bike wheel propellers in a range of different sizes. What you make will create a forest of propellers to decorate the News from Nowhere stage at this year's festival. You will also be invited to take part in the Propel Parade at the over the weekend.
